falling for florals.

falling for florals.

Make your wardrobe blossom this spring.

You must have seen florals everywhere in shops, it’s a trend that doesn’t seem to fade! Spring isn’t quite spring without a few floral prints in your wardrobe, be it a top, a maxi dress, pair of trousers or even your hijab. However, it can be slightly tricky to pull off this trend because it can be very easy to go overboard.

Here are some top tips:
1. Keep it simple – jewellery and other accessories are usually the main culprit for ruining a gorgeous floral maxi dress. Keep the focus on the floral trend by not wearing like a zillion bracelets, glittery lips or neon bright heels, the floral trend makes the perfect statement look without adding everything else into it! Also, if you wear floral trousers, don’t forget to keep your top half neutral i.e. wear a plain black or white top!

2. You can still look glam and girly with floral accessories- for those of you who shy away from prints, how about adding a simple floral accessory like a floral necklace or floral wedges?

3. Accessorise accordingly- team your favourite floral dress witth a denim summer jacket for a more casual approach, or dress it up with fabulous heels, coordinating jewellery and a matching bag.

Florals are all about having fun with fashion and embracing the joy and romance of spring. Perhaps this is why the floral trend is one that just won’t go away.
