feeling wild.

feeling wild.

Indulge in your wild side this summer!

I love animal print and those who know me personally know I am obsessed with it! While I was looking for animal print clothes online I came across a quote on pininterest and it said ‘I’ve never met a leopard print I don’t like’. Haha, this totally describes me, come green, grey, hot pink I love ALL sorts of animal prints.

So this summer, channel your animal instinct with leopard, giraffe, zebra and snake prints. If you love this trend as much I am, you’ll love my pick of the high street’s spring animal print pieces.

The weather’s reportedly supposed to be improving next week, so you need to start investing in some key pieces and why not do it whilst staying on trend? My first favourite piece, yes you guessed it! It’s the printed harem pants from River Island. Yes, I know it’s a bit out there but this bright animal print is the perfect way to bring a pair of harems up to date for this season. Another fabulous item I found was this kimono style animal print from MK, I know it’s pricey but I love the mixture of animal prints on this. For those hitting the beach soon, you’ll look beau wearing this!

If you want to test out this trend in a more subtle way, do the obvious and opt for some animal print accessories. Giraffe print phone cover from Topshop, leopard print ballet pumps from H&M, cat eyed- sunglasses and snake print clutch from Warehouse. I couldn’t resist include this pack of animal cookie cutters for all you brilliant bakers out there! My two favourite animal print headscarves that I plan to buy soon are orange fire and leopard-stripe.

There’s so much animal inspiration all over the high street that you’ll literally be spoilt for choice!

When I wear animal print on my top half, I always make sure my headscarf is plain! I also love the combo of my leopard print blouse tucked inside my cobalt blue maxi skirt! Multicoloured leopard print blouse is from H&M.

How do you wear animal print?
