Hello dear readers,
This is my official blurb. However, I couldn’t sit down and describe myself so my husband helped me out my asking me several questions and here they are:
Describe yourself in 3 words:
Ohh you mean personality-wise?!! Fun-loving.chatterbox.always giggling.
The 3 most important things in life:
Faith, family and friends (haha, they all start with F)
I’ve wanted to start blogging for over a year now and I was the only person holding me back. I wanted a creative outlet, a place to share myself, my clothes and recipes for all my friends and family to see.
How did you think of the name?
Oh the name took forEVER! I went back and forth, considering names and taking names off the list (and putting them back on again). “F is for..” is really catching on to me now, it stood out to me out of all the others as F is for Fatema, Food and Fashion (all 3 things I will be talking about on my blog). So all my posts will begin with the letter F, fingers crossed I won’t run out of headings.
Describe your style?
I would say my style is feminine! I’m a huge fan of dresses and skirts. Lately, I’m loving stripes and bright colours.
How did you get great style?
From my MUM. She’s always had such great taste. We still buy clothes and change it up a bit by ‘making it our own,’ changing the buttons, adding sequins or studs.
What is your favourite outfit?
A huge, bright statement necklace worn over a classic white shirt with a pair of jeans and wedges.
Favourite beauty products?
I love MAC lipsticks. My two favourites are ‘impassioned’ and ‘lady danger’
Ummm it would have to be my baked Parmesan and parsley salmon (will post it up soon)
3 things that make you happy:
Colourful flowers, frozen yogurt and the blinding sun. Okay fine and hanging out with my family and hubby.
Fun facts about F:
My friends from South (London) call me Ash (shortened version of my maiden name Asharia)
Favourite things in my house:
My iPad, can’t go to sleep without it!
People who chew gum with their mouth open, drivers who don’t use their indicators and noisy eaters!
Go-to snack and drink:
Walkers Worcester flavour crisps and lemon ice tea.
Dessert after every meal.
“Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe.” St Augustine
Favourite Islamic quote:
“The sin which makes you sad and repentant is more liked than the good deed which turns you arrogant” Imam Ali (a.s)
If you could take only sweet to a desert island:
it has to be jazzies!
